Last Friday we had the pleasure of attending an Open House hosted by the Travis County Office of Parental Representation. We were given a table there and had the privilege of sharing the goals and purposes of Daddy Restoration with attorneys, social workers, at least one judge, and several interested parties. We were also able to hear the plans of other non-profit groups in the area. It was a profitable time, enjoyed by all. Special thanks to Mia Sneed, LMSW Social Worker, OPR, and Stephanie Smith Ledesma, Managing Attorney, OPR.

Our theme song, "Daddy I Miss You"  (MP3) will be available for download on 06/06/09!! The CD will be available early next week and the DVD video later next week. We'll send a link once the .MP3 channel is open.

Thank you - all of you who took the time to participate in the video we are collaborating in. ! Pray for us as we edit it and prepared all - the song, the video, the packaging - for release; and pray that it IMPACTS FOR GOOD many, many lives all across the earth..!

We have completed our first weekend of filming, and the cover shoot was amazing! All the actors have done a great job, and many have been quite exceptional. The toughest part will be what to keep... Your thoughts and prayers are appreciated. Any other support is welcomed... and a financial partner or two will be considered. We WILL help bring the problem of fatherlessness to the national foreground, and countless lives and families WILL be changed. Thank you DADDY GANG!!

Our Exec Director, Brian Burns, was the guest on Kenneth Thompson's Morning Show (on KAZI) today, and was able to share with listeners the problem of fatherlessness, discuss the purpose of Daddy Restoration, and answer live questions from callers. One father, in particular, will be in our thoughts and prayers, as he confessed to being a "sorry" father, and expressed his great desire to change. That, ladies and gentlemen, is what we are here for - to help "return the hearts of fathers to their children." This we do, with your support! Special thanks to Kenneth Thompson for the invite!

The "Daddy I Miss You" audition was a great success! Over 200 actors and models of all ages and ethnicities came from all over the state to audition for a role in our upcoming music video, which will accompany our theme song. Filming will begin on May 3rd...

We, in conjunction with Broken Bread Music, are assisting in casting for the "Daddy I Miss You" music video (up to 50 people - young and old), which will be completely filmed by mid-May. All ages, sizes, and ethnicities. These auditions will be made on a first come, first serve basis. We suggest you be there just before 10 am, if possible. Bring your headshot, resume, and an acting or vocal CD - but only if you have one. If we already have yours, no need to bring another. All applicants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please RSVP by email, to inform us you intend to attend. Send us your headshot via email, as well. If you see the post too late to let us know, please show up anyway! See ya this Saturday!

Born into a military family, Thomas has had the privilege of living all over the United States and Europe, and considers the Austin area to be a progressive, dynamic community which will embrace the mission of Daddy Restoration, Inc.
